Reflection Group

An independent Reflection Group was established by the European Council to assist the European Union in effectively anticipating and meeting challenges in the longer term horizon of 2020 to 2030. The group of 12 is chaired by Mr. Felipe Gonzalez. It started the work in December 2008 and shall present its report to the European Council by June 2010.

    On 21 January 2009 Mr. Felipe Gonzalez, Chairman of the Reflection Group (RG) on the Future of the EU, was invited by the Constitutional Commission of the European Parliament to lay out the purpose and objectives of  such group.
